Fallon Fox is a retired professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter who specialized in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, wrestling, and Muay Thai. Beginning her martial arts journey in 2008, Fallon trained out of Midwest Training Center in Schaumburg, Illinois, alongside a talented team of fighters. She built an impressive record of 5-1-0 during her career.
Born and raised in the industrial city of Toledo, Ohio, Fallon was the middle child of three siblings. Growing up in what she considered a hostile environment, she sought ways to defend herself. During her senior year of high school, she joined the wrestling team, both to improve her fitness and to establish a foundation for self-defense.
In 1996, Fallon enlisted in the United States Navy, serving honorably for four years as an Operations Specialist. By the time she left the Navy, she had achieved the rank of Operations Specialist Second Class.
After her military service, Fallon studied at the University of Toledo. During this period, she began researching transgender and transsexual information to better understand herself. Struggling with severe emotional distress due to being born male, Fallon realized she needed to take action to align her body with her true identity. She left school to save money for her transition, undergoing gender-affirming surgery in 2006 to match her physical form with her inner self.
In 2008, Fallon began training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to regain her fitness and further develop her ability to defend herself. Through this process, she discovered a profound sense of empowerment in her new body and a passion for martial arts. She went on to train in Muay Thai and MMA, becoming a skilled and formidable fighter.
Today, Fallon Fox is pursuing opportunities as a speaker, sharing her experiences in MMA and other contact sports to inspire and empower women from all walks of life. As a dedicated feminist, Fallon highlights how combat sports can transform lives and foster resilience, strength, and self-confidence.
